Mitä me syödään?

NO! NO CHANGE!

There´s a saying about the ruling political party: “They’ll change everything to make sure that nothing changes”. This philosophy has clearly permeated all Mexican life, at least retail, because it’s near-impossible to get any CHANGE. How can an entire economy be so strapped for coin? s? Not a day without oompah music

Not a single day. Not a day without oompah music. Trombones. Accordions. usually it’s sentimental norteñas in the taxi, if I take a taxi, or a band blasting away at some 16-hour-long party across the valley, or just walking past an open door. Tsh-tshtshtssh-tshtsh marks the start of a cumbia and soon the brass follows! Any set always…

Visit Mexico: the beaches!!!!

Here´s one of the best bits. I´ve only experienced the beaches in Oaxaca and at the tip of the Yucatán peninsula. But there´s more on the Caribbean coast in Quintana Roo, down the hill from us in Chiapas and on the Pacific coast all the way up to Baja California… And the beach means grilled…

Visit Mexico! The SIGHTS…

Hug a cactus, try some organic moonshine, make a chia pet from local clay, walk in the hills or back streets, spot the best graffiti, gawp at art made by people who knew what to do with a chisel: Here’s some stuff to do when you come!
